After some years of active use, the edge finally becomes so thick that the blade needs to be re-ground, that is, slimmed down so that you can continue to use a whetstone or steel on your knife. If you do not have access to machines or the know-how to do this, you can send the knife to us for re-grinding. We grind the knife in-house, restoring the edge practically to the original form and finish. The regrinding cost is 85 SEK for one knife, plus return freight cost. If you live outside EU we have to add 125 SEK (VAT not included) for each shipment due to the Swedish postal office’s handling cost.
Contact us if you have questions or concerns.
Please follow the instructions below:
1. Send your knife to us. You do this by arranging your own envelope and pay the postage for the shipment to us. Our address where you send your knife:
961 43 BODEN
NOTE! We will not send out any envelope to you. Instead you arrange and fix your own envelope (padded), and pay the postage when you are sending it.
Customer outside EU: Please write KNIFE FOR WARRANTY MATTERS, HS CODE 82 11 92 00, COUNTRY OF ORIGIN SWEDEN on the outside of the box.
2. When we receive your knife, we perform the grinding on it as soon as possible. Then we contact you with payment information and total cost. We accept credit card payment via safe credit card payment link. We then send the knife back to you with an insured and fully traceable shipping service.
Important! When you send the knife to us, do not forget to add a note inside the envelope where your name and contact information is shown. And also package the knife very carefully so that it can’t cut through the packaging, preferably in its sheath.
